<h2>The current CEO will reach retirement age next spring</h2>
Solwers announced on Monday that its current CEO, Stefan Nystr&#xf6;m, has informed the Board of Directors that he will step down from his position by the spring of 2026 upon reaching retirement age. The company also announced that it will begin the recruitment process to appoint a new CEO. Nystr&#xf6;m will continue in his role until a new CEO has been recruited and the duties have been smoothly transferred to his successor.
<h2>The news was not surprising</h2>
The news was not surprising at all. We believe that there may be experienced individuals with significant experience in the consulting field among the Group companies who would be willing to serve on the Group&apos;s management team. At the same time, considering the company&#x2019;s growth strategy, we believe that the Board should emphasize expertise in capital allocation in the CEO change, which could make external candidates a relevant target group in the recruitment process. The Board of Directors has a year to find a replacement for the current CEO, which we feel creates good preconditions for a smooth transition process.
