Archer is an American oil company. The company offers engineering services for the offshore sector, as well as drilling solutions, construction, and associated building materials for the construction of oil platforms. In addition to this, leasing of fixed assets is offered. The establishment took place in 2011 through a merger of the oil and gas companies Seawell and Allis-Chalmers-Energy.
