ChromoGenics AB (publ): ChromoGenics has received a complementary 2 MSEK order from Ticon, Norway.
By combining ChromoGenics technology in ConverLight® Paragon with colored solar panels for façades from KameleonSolar the Ticon project will do a retrofit project that saves more than 85% of the energy consumption in the building without affecting the architecture. ConverLight Paragon blocks up to 90% of the heat transmission into the building. It insulates as good as a wall and still maintains 100% access to daylight and outside view.
By this project ChromoGenics are creating solutions where we in the future will be able to build properties where the Façade actually is generating energy. ChromoGenics technology combined with the solution from KameleonSolar are opening very interesting possibilities for buildings of tomorrow.
"The Ticon project has a very exciting solution where our technology is combined with another technology like the façade solar panels from KameleonSolar. Our vision is that by utilizing the ConverLight technology in combination with for example solar panels we will be able to create so called plus façades that actually generates energy. This is in line with our goal to be the innovation leader in the business", says CEO Jerker Lundgren.
