MedCap AB: MedCap's Business Area Assistive Tech Acquires Danrehab
The Business Area Assistive Tech within MedCap AB (publ) has signed an agreement to acquire a majority share of Danrehab A/S in Denmark. MedCap acquires 85% of the company and Danrehab's current Managing Director remain a shareholder of 15%. The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter.
Danrehab provides hygiene chairs and assistive products to beds with focus on comfort, ease of use, safety and ergonomics for both the individual and the caregiver. The company's revenue in 2024 amounted to approx. 42 MDKK with good profitability and has 16 employees.
The purchase price consists of an initial cash payment at closing of 51 MDKK for 85% of the shares in the company, with adjustments for net debt, and an additional payment of up to 6.8 MDKK conditioned upon the financial result in 2025.
