Kreate's Swedish subsidiary has acquired the remaining shares in the associated company Karell Schakt AB, in which it held a 34% stake prior to the transaction. Karell Schakt AB’s revenue in the last financial year was 16 MSEK which is approximately 1.4 MEUR. The company's most significant customer has been Kreate's Swedish subsidiary (Kreate Sverige AB), so the transaction will not have a material impact on Kreate's figures, given its small size and customer mix. The transaction price was not disclosed.
The transaction will add approximately 20 employees to the earthworks capacity of Kreate's Swedish unit. This will enable Kreate to take on the largest projects with group resources. The transaction will thus support Kreate's ambition to increase revenue in Sweden from approximately 23 MEUR (2023) to approximately 650 MSEK (over 55 MEUR) in 2027.
