North Media: Lidt blandt start på året - præciserer guidance for 2024
North Media har her til eftermiddag offentliggjort regnskab for 1. kvartal 2024, hvor guidance for 2024 præciseres ved at tage den øvre del af intervallerne, ligesom indtjeningen skuffer noget som følge af af- og nedskrivninger relateret til overtagelsen af svenske SDR.
North Media realiserer således en omsætning på DKK 327,1 mio. i Q1 2024, hvilket er en vækst på 36% sammenholdt med sidste år i Q1 2023, hvor omsætningen landede på DKK 240,0 mio. Det seneste kvartal er inkl. købet af svenske SDR, og såfremt der korrigeres herfor er omsætningen faldet med 3% i kvartalet sammenholdt med året før. Konsensus lød ifølge Capital IQ blandt en enkelt analytiker på DKK 339 mio. i omsætning i Q1 2024.
EBITDA og EBIT lander på henholdsvis DKK 39,2 mio. og DKK 10,4 mio. imod henholdsvis DKK 50,4 mio. og DKK 43,8 mio. Nedgangen i EBITDA kan henføres til nedgang i FK Distribution og i mindre grad Digital Services. Det store fald i EBIT kan primært henføres til af-og nedskrivninger i relation til SDR. Konsensus lå på henholdsvis DKK 49 mio. og DKK 33 mio. for EBITDA og EBIT.
North Media præciserer sine forventninger til 2024 ved at tage toppen af guidance-intervallerne på omsætning og EBITDA, imens EBIT ventes at ligge lidt lavere end tidligere guidet. Således venter North Media nu en omsætning i hele 2024 på DKK 1.310-1.355 mio. (fra tidligere DKK 1.310-1.375 mio.). EBITDA præciseres til DKK 170-200 mio. (fra tidligere DKK 170-210 mio.). EBIT forventningerne sænkes til et nyt interval på DKK 95-125 mio. (fra tidligere DKK 110-150 mio.).
North Media’s værdipapirportefølje havde ultimo april 2024 en markedsværdi på DKK 786,3 mio. imod en markedsværdi ultimo 2023 på DKK 652,4 mio. De 3 største positioner er Novo Nordisk, NVIDIA og Microsoft der udgør tæt på 70% af porteføljens værdi. Samlet havde North Media et likviditetsberedskab på DKK 952 mio. ved udgangen af kvartalet sammenholdt med en aktuel markedsværdi på ca. DKK 1.147 mio.
