With reference to stock exchange message released on July 13, 2023.
Aega has been informed by the relevant authorities in the Region Lazio that our
1MW greenfield project has been granted the status of "Ready To Build". We just
entered a 120-day appeal period, in which minor changes could be imposed, if any
at all. However, at this stage the authorisation must be considered safe, as it
cannot be withdrawn as such. Aega will take advantage of such a period (formally
ending on April 27, 2024) to plan the building phase of the project and to
negotiate favourable contracts with counterparties and partners.
"We are utilising new competence and resources in this pilot project to prove
both our own organisation and our partners', this goes for all financial aspects
related to taking on a project from scratch, through the stages of its
development: authorisation, building, and grid connection. We are already
maturing valuable experiences that we aim to further scale when this project
becomes a producing solar plant. We look forward to keeping our stakeholders
informed about the process as it moves forward", says Nils P. Skaset, CEO of
Aega ASA.
"Our Italian organisation, headed by Fabio Buonsanti, will oversee the process
to secure a thorough execution at Aega standards." Skaset concludes.
