Bravida Holding AB: Bravida Denmark to create a new 1.4 km long power supply line for renewable district heating
Bravida Denmark has signed an agreement with Centralkommunernes Transmissionsselskab (CTR) to implement a new electricity supply line to enable more renewable district heating for residents in Frederiksberg. The contract has an order value of approximately DKK 86 million.
Bravida's assignment is a design-and-build contract for the installation of a new 132 kV cable for district heating in Frederiksberg, to replace old oil and gas boilers. Bravida is also responsible for the planning, design, dimensioning and delivery of the new infrastructure.
"We are very pleased to have been entrusted with this assignment and to contribute to the transition to more renewable energy. The contract award was made after a comprehensive tendering process and we proposed technical solutions that make it possible to deliver a stable and future-proof solution for electricity supply," comments Ole Høgh, Regional Manager for Region Infrastructure at Bravida Denmark.
Work will start in March 2025 and is expected to last 8 months. The entire project is expected to be completed by mid-2027.
