Dug Foodtech AB (publ): DUG Foodtech obtains patent for their plant-based meat analogue in Sweden
The Swedish Intellectual Property Office has notified DUG Foodtech AB that they intend to approve the patent application "Meat analogue" which defines the company's unique methodology to produce vegetable meat alternatives. This means that the upcoming patent protection covers the Swedish market.
The patent portfolio of DUG Foodtech has been strengthened by the decision of the Swedish intellectual Property Office relating to a unique methodology to produce a vegan meat alternative. Through the unique methodology a meat analogue with improved texture and feeling is obtained.

DUG Foodtech AB also has a filed PCT application for above-described invention regarding the vegan meat analogue with the possibility for future patent protection on further markets.
