Goodbye Kansas Group divests Plotagon Production AB
Goodbye Kansas Group has today entered into a Share Purchase Agreement to divest all shares in its subsidiary Plotagon Production AB to an industrial buyer who will remain unnamed according to agreement. The divestment will have limited financial impact on the group in the short term but includes a conditional consideration based on future financial performance. The divestment is the final step in Goodbye Kansas Group’s strategy to narrow its business focus and focus on its studio business. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
“Through the divestment of Plotagon, Goodbye Kansas Group completes its transition to focus exclusively on Studios and we can thereby make the best use of our core competencies,” states Stefan Danieli, CEO of Goodbye Kansas Group.
Plotagon was founded in 2013 and has successfully led the development of the mobile app Z-Cut and the movie creator service Plotagon Story.
