Hexatronic’s duct and pipe factory in Ogden to open
Today, production begins at Hexatronic's new US facility in Ogden, Utah. The production facility will manufacture HDPE pipes for telecom and power cables and primarily serve customers in the western United States.
“By setting up in Ogden, we are strengthening our presence in the US infrastructure market. Ogden complements our other factories well by opening the western US market, which we have previously been unable to supply with duct and pipe products due to high transportation costs," said Henrik Larsson Lyon, CEO of Hexatronic Group.
Through its subsidiary Blue Diamond Industries, Hexatronic has duct and pipe production facilities in Middlesboro, KY, Aubrey, TX, and Clinton, SC. The Ogden, UT facility will be the company's fourth duct and pipe production facility in the United States. Production in Ogden is starting on a small scale and is planned to expand in line with demand.
The total investment in Ogden amounts to approximately USD 30 million for production equipment and infrastructure. The investment decision was announced on March 22, 2023.
