<div class="abstract">MilDef has been entrusted with the delivery of rugged IT equipment for new BvS10 tracked vehicle from BAE Systems Hägglunds. The contract is initially worth SEK 80 million. Deliveries will be made to a European nation during 2025-2029.</div>The BvS10 tracked vehicle is currently used by Sweden, Austria, France, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA. Now BAE Systems has been entrusted to deliver the BvS10 tracked vehicle to a European nation. MilDef will supply customized switches for the newly manufactured vehicles. "The orders now won are a continuation of a long-standing collaboration with BAE Systems Hägglunds and an acceleration of joint efforts for strengthened defense systems in Sweden and Europe. Together with BAE Systems Hägglunds, we demonstrate the technological excellence of the Nordic defense industrial system and the responsibility that the companies take to strengthen European security of supply," says Daniel Ljunggren, President and CEO of MilDef.BAE Systems Hägglunds' BvS10 tracked vehicles are able to move quickly over terrain that would stop other vehicles.
