Peab builds homes in Uppsala
Peab has been commissioned to build homes in Luthagen in Uppsala. The customer is HSB Uppsala and the contract is worth SEK 151 million.
Luthagen Strand, phase 2, is an important part of Uppsala's urban development. The apartment building will consist of seven floors and house a total of 64 apartments of varying sizes from one to six rooms and a kitchen. Two large duplex apartments will be built on the top floors, , equipped with a fireplace, spiral staircase and double terraces. Many of the apartments will have extra high ceilings and all the furnishings will be adapted accordingly, including the kitchen height, interior doors and windows.
"We're proud to have been entrusted with contributing to Luthagen's growth and development. By building homes that promote sustainability and reduce climate impact we create sustainable homes for communities of the future," says Fredrik Jihammar, Region Manager Peab.
The project focuses on offering modern and sustainable homes of high quality construction and well- conceived solutions for both indoor and outdoor environments.
The project is a turnkey contract with construction starting in the spring of 2025. The apartments are expected to be completed in the autumn of 2026.
