Qliro expands globally with new app for Shopify
Qliro announced today that the company has launched a new app for the world's leading commerce platform, Shopify. The new app enables Nordic merchants to leverage Qliro's checkout solution on Shopify's platform in almost 60 countries. The listing in Shopify’s App Store represents an important milestone in Qliro's strategy to expand within Payment Solutions.
"We are delighted to announce our new app for Shopify, which opens up a significantly larger addressable market. The ability to integrate Qliro as a payment partner is in high demand by many of Shopify's Nordic merchants, strengthening our position for further expansion within Payment Solutions. The partnership is an important step in line with our vision to build a leading European player in payment solutions with global reach", says Christoffer Rutgersson, CEO, Qliro.
Shopify’s platform provides commerce infrastructure for large and small merchants to efficiently create and manage their online and physical stores, including inventory management, shipping and payment services. The platform was launched in 2006 and has since become the world's leading commerce solution.
Through the new listing in the Shopify App Store, Nordic merchants will be able to choose Qliro as payment partner on Shopify's platform in nearly 60 countries. In Qliro's home market in the Nordics, all relevant payment methods will be available, including Swish, Vipps, MobilePay and Trustly, as well as the company's own Pay Later products.
In June 2024, the first online merchant went live with Qliro's payment solution on Shopify. Qliro’s technical integration on Shopify’s platform, designed to minimise the number of steps in the payment process, has undergone extensive testing to ensure high reliability and a world-class experience.
“We look forward to Qliro being able to offer our merchants even more opportunities to grow and improve their customer experience. Qliro's payment services are in high demand on our platform in the Nordics”, said Benjamin Lang, Head of Northern Europe Partnerships, Shopify.
