SSH Communications Security (SSH) has signed a deal worth 250,000 EUR with a leading healthcare provider in Northern Europe for PrivX Hybrid Privileged Access Management solution. As an organization that handles sensitive patient data, including medical histories, prescriptions and transcripts of doctor’s appointments, the health care provider decided to improve their critical access controls to servers and databases hosting such information.
In addition, PrivX helps the organization to fulfill the Network & Information Security Directive (NIS2) requirements. NIS2 is an EU-wide law that mandates organizations to build proper preventive security controls, including limiting, auditing and protecting access to critical or sensitive information.
SSH’s solution was competing against multiple solution providers in a public tender process and proved to be the most competitive solution for the customer. The deal was won together with SSH’s partner Fujitsu.
“We are pleased to continue expanding our footprint in the healthcare segment. PrivX is highly automated, fast to deploy and easy to use, all of which are features which not only improve security but bring a lot of savings. We are proud to protect the operations of public organizations and help them fulfill strict access control, regulatory and audit requirements”, said Rami Raulas, Interim CEO of SSH. “A big thanks goes out to our partner Fujitsu for their expertise and commitment to win this agreement together with us”, Raulas concludes.
