This innovation enables Belcor® to deliver remarkable results in OEM applications for electric vehicle (EV) batteries, ensuring highest battery safety and thermal management.
The Belcor® initiative has extensive expertise in high-performance nonwoven solutions for heat and fire protection of batteries and other high demanding applications. They have now developed a new solution tailored to meet the strict requirements within EV safety. Their latest advancement, Belcotex® fibers, enables precise modulation of substrate densities to meet specific requirements of battery cells. A key breakthrough in this innovation is the seamlessly incorporation of Svenska Aerogels material Quartzene® in their formulation, unlocking new levels of efficiency and versatility.
