Oslo, 21 February 2024: Webstep has secured a frame agreement with Equinor to
support the company's digitalisation efforts for three years, with an option for
a one-year extension. The agreement represents a significant opportunity for
Webstep, with the potential for further collaboration over time.
Webstep and Equinor have maintained a longstanding relationship, with the latest
framework agreement serving as an extension of the one initially established in
2021.
"This framework agreement is a recognition of Webstep's strong expertise and our
ability to deliver tailored system development teams. With our expertise, we
will support Equinor in solving complex technological challenges and developing
robust, innovative solutions that support their operational needs," says
Kristine Lund, CEO of Webstep.
"Our engagement with Equinor has grown from 10 consultants to multiple
development teams with around 80 consultants over the past four years,
showcasing attractive competence across various projects. One important area of
work is to improve decision support systems by retrieving, analyzing, and making
data available to decision makers and field workers. Artificial intelligence is
increasingly relevant for this," says Christer Hennø, enterprise sales director
at Webstep.
At Equinor, Webstep also engages in coaching and change management services.
"Many of our clients increasingly seek consultancy and advisory services at the
intersection of business and technology. As the technological landscape becomes
more complex, this expertise is highly valued," states Christer Hennø.
