Asetek is a global leader within liquid cooling solutions for high-end PC’s and also produces high-end equipment for SimSports. Asetek was listed on the OBX Oslo Stock Exchange in 2013. Asetek’s liquid cooling of high-end PC’s and eSports enthusiasts is its largest segment. Its sealed loop liquid cooler supports the thermal challenges of the computers and can also be implemented at data centers to provide significant energy savings and recapturing of heat against the air cooling industry norm; however, this segment remains relatively smaller. In 2021 Asetek made its first expansion into the SimSports Gaming market with its high-end SimRacing pedals, designed to create an immersive experience for sim racers. Asetek plans to expand further into the SimRacing value chain with ambitions to release wheelbases, steering wheels, shifters, and other end-user customization options.

Asetek offentliggjorde her til formiddag sit Q1 2025 regnskab der kommer efter at selskabet i fredags måtte nedjustere sine helårsforventninger grundet negativ effekt på SimSports segmentet fra tariffer i USA. Asetek kunne dog også her til morgen løfte sløret for en aftale inden for sim racing med en større nordisk elektronikkæde.

Asetek faced continued volatility in 2024, with solid growth in SimSports (+34%), while Liquid Cooling struggled due to increased competition, a major customer insolvency, and weaker demand. A rights issue completed in December 2024 raised gross proceeds of DKK 88m, primarily to finance investment and scale-up of SimSports activities as Asetek works towards its mid-term ambitions for SimSports revenues of USD +50m with positive (single-digit) EBITDA margins, and liquid cooling revenues of around USD 50m with >25% adj. EBITDA margins. For 2025 Asetek targets revenues of USD 52-58m (-1% to +10% y/y) with 3-5% adj EBITDA margins, with ongoing growth and margin improvement in SimSports and stabilization within liquid cooling.
